On a national battlefield, the only people doing digging should be archeologists. Ever.

In many ways this behavior is mystifying to me because, when it comes to the American Civil War, for every protected national battlefield there are literally 100 with no protection at all. Even national battlefields are often protecting a portion of the actual battlefield.

I am a member of the Sons are of Confederate Veterans, and once new someone in my chapter who was an avid metal detectorist. He'd go to national battlefields armed with the knowledge of a amateur civil war historian and metal detect areas not on the national battlefield where fighting took place. I often thought he was mad because he, on many occasions dig up 150 year ago old unexploded parrot shells.

Ask the farmers of Belgium and Northern France. Old munitions can still explode and kill you dead.

Of course, if I couldn't have that, walking into my bathroom and finding this would do.

It's the day after Memorial Day. There are many other ponderous issues to consider, I thought I'd just present you with two.

As an old forumite once said. The answer is always boobs.

Wise words indeed.

Pendulous is the word..."hanging down and swinging freely" according to http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pendulous

Well, ponderous can mean you might break your arm trying to lift it or at least get a cramp.

I have never understood the obsession with oversized frontage - most of these women suffer back problems and they just don't look in proportion.
Neither do the huge "bootys" being promoted these days, IMO.
But to each their own ...

To each their own? I don't care if a woman has a chest like a boy. A woman's chest is erotic regardless. There is no wrong size. Well, actually, they can be too big, but if she has a smile on her face while exhibiting, it's not a problem for me.

I had a girlfriend once, no, really, and her lower lip was way out of proportion with her upper. In conversation she mentioned she'd been thinking about having her lower lip surgically reduced. I flipped out. I thought that big fat lower lip was sooooo sexy. Not that the rest of her wasn't, it was.

I've been having trouble logging in lately. Any time there's a zero or the letter "O" I get an error. It used to be that the letter was nearly round and the zero had straight sides up and down. What's up with that?

Learned a new word today. One a day is my limit. It's a title we can all give ourselves. Polemologist. The forum's spellcheck doesn't recognize it and it's not in my old dictionary, but it's a word.
It means "student of war". Next time someone asks you what you do in your spare time, don't say "wargamer". They'll think you run around in the woods with a paintball gun or play GI Joe on a game console. From now on, you are a polemologist.

By the way, when I play "capture the flag" I only allow my opponents to use green paintballs and I strip naked. That way I always win.

If you get shot in the danglers - won't they turn blue?

Do Gorn molt or shed their skin?

Does Gorn skin change color during mating season?

Have you been peeking at my danglers?

Do Gorn molt or shed their skin?
Everytime after I'm in a police lineup.

Does Gorn skin change color during mating season?
Tell me somewhere I can find a nice gorn girl and we'll find out. "Gorn Girl". Sounds like the name of a movie.

Sorry I omitted playing along "name that ship"...

Geez you step away for a few moments.

Now this particular ship remains the penultimate killer for many men my age.

Diana Rigg was definitely my favorite. Even when she was older and hosting "Masterpiece Theatre".

Diana Rigg for those who were too young or don't remember.

Didn't know that. Never have watched one of those, or any Sopranos or any Breaking Bad for that matter. Anybody remember Peggy Lipton from The Mod Squad?
I did watch a few of those and thought she looked ok, then I saw her in Twin Peaks and I was like (pardon the Valley speak), "Holy crap, is that Peggy Lipton?"

Yep - her character is still alive (but she may have to make some accommodations with Jonathan Pryce ...)
