Buying WitW Boxed and Digital download?

I went to purchase WitW+Torch for a friend, but I'm somewhat confused by the order details on Matrix's form.

When I upgrade to boxed edition from the digital download for the base WitW, the digital download comment is removed on the order screen. It only states boxed edition (at $94.99).

When I upgrade to boxed edition from the digital download for the Torch DLC, the comment reads boxed + free download on the order screen.

The difference in those two comments challenged my assumption that digital download was standard with both boxed upgrades.

If anyone has done a boxed order for the base WitW, would you please confirm for me whether or not that includes the digital download or not? It seems reasonable it would, but I don't want to just assume.

I'd like to get the guy that nice hard copy manual with the base game, while still offering him the download in the meantime.

Although this is the WitW Forum and we know loads about the game we are not experts on the purchase systems. My advice is to contact Matrix via the helpdesk - their service is prompt, supportive and I'm sure they'll have the answer.

Hi, Malevolence.

I bought WitW boxed edition back when it was launched. I was immediately provided with a download link and a serial so I was able to play right away. The physical stuff took weeks to arrive, though.

I bought it two days ago...Th box set is enroute (tracking number provided) I was also provided the download link to load her up and check it out...(along with the updates)...Great service..
