Whenever I do a Sandbox Attack battle with Corps v Corps the opposing armies always start on top of each other and in direct melee. I have QB and game is fully patched. The problem occurs whether using several or no objectives and on any map. Using Division v Division doesn't seem to have the same problem I suppose because there is more map space and it's less likely.

I used to be able to play Attack as it should be with the cpu defending a point on the map not spread out all over it and in the same starting position as the attackers.

Well in the absence of any advise I've played around with this and in my opinion the game has taken a turn for the worst with the most recent changes. Maybe they came with QB I don't know but I didn't have this problem before.

The issue is that before if you played Corps v Corps sandbox both armies would start in their own discreet corners of the map, now at the start each division is evenly spread out along a central line running the length of the map no matter what type of battle you choose. Engagements take place all at once across a wide area. This makes it a nightmare to try and manage a large force and seems to have broken some of the battle styles like Attack and Line of Sight for Corps level anyway.

Time to shelve this game till further patches.
