Status: offline 		I saw this topic brought up in an earlier thread (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3803388&mpage=1&key=�), but didn't see an answer. In the '43 campaign game, Coastal Command has a single recon squadron, No. 540, with Mosquito PRXVI. However, the squadron is "Naval only" and its pilots only have Naval skills, so it can't be assigned to a recon AD. On the other hand, as a recon squadron it can't be assigned to a Naval Patrol AD ("incompatible" according to the list of available units in the AD screen).

Looking up the history of No 540 squadron, it was indeed assigned to Coastal Command and conducted normal recon missions with its Mosquitos.

If I transfer it to another command, will the Naval Only designation be removed?

Is there a data error in the scenario, or am I overlooking something?

Status: offline 		Likely a data error, 44/45 campaigns have naval-only off for 540.
AFAIR this naval-only tag will stay even if you reassign it to another command.

I guess the only solution, then, is to disband it. At least the PRXVIs will go into the pool.
