Can't let all the twin engine bombers have all the fun.

The beloved Sonia's are very busy over Chungking.

Incredibly, the Allies don't strike from the air....another day done.

Tomorrow our first attack at Chungking....those poor hapless Chinese took around 4,000 losses today.

Hey lowpe! Your aar is a very entertaining journey!

While there is time due to jockes vacation, can you maybe share your thoughts on the cost of the combined operations against Hawaii and WC with with regards to fuel.

IIRC this is a scen30 game, so DBB goodies on a scen2 baseline, correct? I am aware that scen2 provides more ressources to the Japanese industry, but also increases consumption. I have no idea if the same applies to scen30.

On a standard DBB campaign Japan needs to plan operations involving combined fleet conservatively in order to have any staying power remaining in '45. Those two ops would basically autocollapse the IJ eceonomy.

Did you make any calculations on consumption and how the ops impact your late war economy?

I feel okay for now. I have 6.85 million units of fuel, and 3.4 million units of oil.

I pretty much mothballed the fleet prior to the West Coast Invasion.

I am increasing fuel stocks each day still.

Olorin increased the industry substantially, and I find trying to build resource stockpiles very difficult.

You should pull that sub off of Repair Ship and put her on Pier Side, just to be sure the DD gets the repairs.

I juggled all the settings and these were the best, although some other settings were identical.

There is an ARD and a AS there helping...perhaps an AD too.

The 1# for the sub means it isn't doing any repairing this turn. The AS can't repair that 8 float damage.

If it were me, I'd stick the sub in the ARD until it was at 5 and then let the port fix it...

Au contraire, Master. I can't pick which ship goes into which repair ship. Or at least I don't think so except by using only one repair ship at a time and putting the others to sea.

An X means it won't repair this turn. # means no major damage repaired.

Do you have enough to effectively blockade here? Looks like in LA one more division would do it, but would that leave Santa Ana vulnerable? Do you have more AT guns around?

I think I have 9 of the rapid fire 47mm gun units marching there now, and more importantly, some seriously heavy IJA artillery.

Unfortunately landing on goat island hurt that particular aspect of the invasion. Almost rectified.

2nd Tank will show up in LA tomorrow, and I haven't delved deep enough to figure out what else yet. A lot moving there, especially AA.

Yes you can. Set priority properly. Because both are on Critical, you're at the mercy of the game deciding for you.

Beyond that, I-25 is now able to be repaired by the port alone since it's port 7. Take her off Repair Ship, FFS. Pier Side. Come on, bro. Criminal misuse of repair resources here...

A potential disaster...fresh air squadrons on those AKVs.

However, the PT boats must be short of fuel and ammo and turn away very quickly.
