Probably you already figured out, but you could use the windows' "sniping tool" or some other screenshot tool, to take a capture of that part of the screen and then print it.

Sorry for the late response, but have you tried looking at the text file of the SitRep ?

Of course, you need Sit Rep enabled as an option to do this. I _think_ the complete News Summary is included with the first lines in the Sit Rep. (The News shows in both the text and spreadsheet versions of SitRep, but for me, it is easier to read the text file.)

So, you could always copy the Sit Rep, and snip off the inital set of lines for a News Summary reference. Due to my own misadventures with openng SitReps for an active turn, I suggest first copying the SitRep, and then, opening and snipping the copy. (TOAW constantly appends to the Sit Rep files (txt and xls) of the active turn, so I've found it better to just let them alone, and look at/edit copies.)
