Discovered this gem mid-June and it took this long to read through it, savoring each vignette. Wonderful read, and the best praise I can offer is if this is made into a book, I will purchase it.
Best regards!

Hope you are enjoying your furlough, and terrorizing the ponds with that fantastic model of Yamato!
Still hoping to see your book.

Sounds like you have shifted from the little ship that could to a huge ship that didn't. Are going to take it out to the backyard pool, fill her with M80s and watch her explode and sink? That would be recreating history!

It would also be nice to have some final chapter on the characters of this AAR :) I had enjoyed it, but it ended somewhat open.

Wow..... Just. Wow.
I've been reading this on and off for three months. Blew through late 44 and 1945 in about the last week.

Excellent writing, if you publish I'll buy a copy! Amazing character development, great use of language to create a visual and emotional effect.

And spectacular tactics (and knowledge of your opponent) to keep counter-punching so long after it seemed you were toast.

Thank you, hope it was fun

I pick away at editing a couple a times a week.
Cannot wait for retirement.

Heyo.
Just finished reading your AAR. Definitely worthwhile. There's something haunting about your short, clipped writing style that really leaves an impression on the reader.

Without doubt this AAR alone propelled me into registering on Matrix and am trying to convince my USN retired brother to take the plunge w me and do an AAR.

You, my friend, have my highest praise.

Ouch, ten years since this AAR started? That time went fast.

Would love to. E-mail would be much more convenient if you have her address? I plan to buy a copy each for my son and myself.
