I think it would be cool if the player could achieve promotions as they successfully win the scenarios in the campaigns. Also, at the conclusion of a campaign, more recognition or a screen with stats regarding the victories. Sometimes the hard fought victories are just not recognized. I believe the original Panzer General games recognized this as well.

There are not linked scenarios in SC. You play the campaign game and that's it, although there can be operational theatres included or custom made by the users.

This is not Panzer General, much more depth. SC is a grand strategic scale game with some operational and tactical aptitudes.
