Hi, I went back to play this game after your last beta patch and it looks really improved since the last time I played one year ago.

A question about barrage craters: do they affect mobility or are just cosmetic issues? I have seen path avoiding crater heavy hexes, but not sure about it.

Kills and craters effect movement and pathing and have minor effects on spotting and combat.

Get enough craters and units will path off road around them.

Hi

the spotting penalty can be quite frustrating, currently playing school teacher campaign, scenario 1, have unspotted soviet units in 1220, 1320 & 1421, I know they are there 'cos they keep shooting at me ! lost 3 Leopards in 1319 and some other sub units in 0720 and 0923. Are my thermal sights being blinded by the burning wrecks ? if this is so then this is going to require some thought of how to create kill zones, if I am too successful I eventually lose the kill zone ?

I am away from my computer at the moment. Are those hidden units in the urban hex? If they are, that is fairly realistic behavior. You will have to assault the town and dig them out. It is easy to loose sight of units in a town, especially with all the damage in the hex. If you don't push them out of the town they will be a pain in your side popping up and shooting at your units

Yep, they are in town hexes , which means the overwatch position at 1319 is not a good spot !

Looks like whoever created that School Teacher Campaign should have put some more Soviets in the fight. The ones in the screen shot look awful lonely!!!

Good Hunting.
