An NEI Partisan springs up and destroys 2 stored Japanese oil points. I though the unit across the straight provided a zoc (i.e., protection against partisans). I was wrong.

No changes from last turn. The only voluntary trade is two oil points sent by the USA to China and France. While China is still heavily involved in fighting the Japanese, France appears to be mobilizing for the post-war world. Typical France!

If it seems like it's been awhile since the allies moved first it has been. In checking my logs, the last time the allies moved first was on turn 29, May/June 1944, which is over a year ago. Specifically, 7 turns ago.

However, the IJN does in the hopes of sinking or aborting some of the allied landing force. However, the allies keep their eye on the ball and use their surprise points to avoid combat. The sole objective for the allies in Asia this turn is expanding the area of control in the Japanese home islands.
