Hi, I have owned command for quite some time now (somewhere around v1.4) and have been struggling with the same thing ever since... I love the game, and can certainly have fun battles, but I think I am not efficient in this particular area. Since I am nowhere near an expert, perhaps you guys can help me with this. I am sure there is a trick to it (or it could even be a request for a new revision of the game, although I cannot imagine it is not implemented in some way or another...). Here we go... Assume I want to do an air strike on a area with one or several SAM sites and several other targets. I would like to mark each SAM site (that I am aware of) with a (preferably circular, size adjustable) no-navigation zone while still being able to fire on the SAM site with standoff weapons and attack using F1 (not only shift-F1). Ideally, my planes in a surface strike mission would pick the targets they can reach and plot courses around the marked areas. Using the no-nav areas as I know them, I cannot auto-attack (F1) the SAM sites while maintaining a safe position outside of the threat area of the SAM. For some reason, I cannot get this to work smoothly with no-navigation areas and can only fire manually into them. What is the best way of doing this? How do I make sure my planes stay out of reach of the SAMs, while attacking all the targets they are capable of reaching with their weapons, especially using F1 and missions? Preferably, I would like a right-click on a unit to create this danger area or use a circular reference area with some kind of attack option. And like I said, I am certainly no expert, but cannot imagine that battle planners don't create these danger areas in the flight computers of the attackers. Note that the same could be applied to surface combatants (requiring moving areas). I think, there should be something with the minimum strike distance in the stkre planner, but for some reason, i struggle with it... Any advice from the pro's? Thank you, your patience is very much appreciated! Erik
