I just uploaded the 2nd Civil War scenario, that I had been working on for quite a while, to the Scenario Bank.

Currently it is just BETA. So be warned, if you want to play it. There will be bugs, and stuff that happens unintendedly. Feel free to report them.

Unlike most scenarios, this one has been made with an emphasis that the AI should be able to play it, so it actually can.

Thanks Vic & Bombur for finally convincing me to upload it.

Sandbox mode is the mode where there is no backstory operating, and thus no preprogrammed historical events take place. Or put it another way, it's free for all.

Ok couple questions.

shipwharf says it is buildable in the editor but I can not build one on map. Any Idea why?

And Paratroops have combat effects on everything except infantry at 120, is that right? I mean para are good but I didnt think they were that good ).

And last the recon 1 has a weight of 51 yet you put them on carriers at start making them unmovable and requiring them to be moved. Is that right?

Sorry there Twotribes, must have gotten a bit distracted.

As for the shipwarf building, you'll notice it is an upgrade of ports. So if you want one, build a port, and then a shipwarf.

Unsure. You would have to get a comment from Bombur on them. I'll make him aware of this post...

EDIT: Bombur confirms this as wrong values, says he will fix them and a new version will be uploaded soon.

I'm in the process of updating this for a second version which will have corps, brigades so the map isn't so cluttered in my opinion. Once I've completed this I'll send what I have to bombur and Ernie for their approval and changes made if needed. The only thing which will change are the units, as everything else will be the same, events and such. I have attached a screenshot of what I have so far. Oh and Texas is no more and is now apart of the US. I gave the CSA german images as they are assumed to have ties with Germany and copied their equipment after Germany.

this mod is taken from the board wargame " Mason Dixon". It takes place in 1933

I modified the mod to have divisional HQs also. Each division now has an HQ reporting to Corps HQ, and on up the chain of command. I like the way it works.

Folks, you can have a lot of fun with this one!

Well its not exactly mason dixon, but it is a modern (1930s) version of the 2nd Civil war, that would have happened had the CSA (the south) had one the original one.

I tried to download this in firefox and got a 'need app?' popup from windows explorer. As this is an at.zip am I doing something wrong?

Also Twotribes, you may know more about this than I do but is the mapmod and NATO symbols graphics included? I downloaded and installed the 4 seasons mods last night and loaded several scenarios but no change in map or counters. Is there something beyond just downloading, like a tweak in each file?

Cant remember the 4 season mod there should be a thread on it you need to read that. Seems to me we did more then down load it had to put stuff somewhere if I remember right.
