ND40-i7: Naval Searches
Japan is taking a land action, while the Euro axis both take combined actions.
The Germans moved to subs to the N. Atlantic and Italy moved the recently reorganized sub to CSV
I will be initiating combat in the CSV and N. Atl (but not the W. Med). I believe you have a NAV in Gibraltar that can react to the 0 or 1 box of the CSV. Will it?

The 2pt sub in the N. Atlantic initiated combat. Search rolls of 8/8 resulted in no contact.
The IT sub in the CSV has initiated combat. Will the CW NAV fly from Gibraltar?

ND40-i7: CSV Naval Combat
The Italians did find on 2/6 rolls. Engaged the zero box only with 5 surprise points, 4 of which were used to make it a sub combat. The sub was sunk by failing two consecutive damage rolls and the convoys suffered a D 3A result. No round 2.

Are previous CP abort instructions still valid (Plymouth followed by Gibraltar)?

Send the 3 aborted CPs to Gibraltar. Don't bother if you've already moved them I'll change them to Gibraltar when I get my turn back.

Here is the EOT roll (turn continues) and the China situation. France is completely cleared of Allied units. Le Harve is the only allied controlled hex in France.

Turn 8. Nov/Dec 1940. Allied #9. RN. Contested Sea Areas.

The RN declines the opportunity to try to initiate combat in these three contested sea areas. The axis, as the non-phasing player, isn't given the opportunity.

Turn 8. Nov/Dec 1940. Allied #9. End of Turn.

The CW wasted Alexander's reorg of 4 CPs. This turn comes to an end.

1. The Soviets add an 8th chit to the defensive garrison pool.

2. Where do the Germans want to put their two chits?

If the first chit is greater than 1 put it in the defensive pool (otherwise into the offensive pool) and later move a 1-chit from the defensive pool to the offensive pool.
If the first chit went into the offensive pool, then follow the above instructions for the 2nd chit. If both chits were 1-chits, then they both go into the offensive pool
and I'd still like to move one 1-chit from the defensive pool to the offensive pool (working on upgrading the quality of the defensive chits)

1. 1st chit was a 0, which went in the offensive pool.

2. 2nd chit was a 1, which also went into the offensive pool.

3. Moved a 1 chit from the defensive to the offensive pool.

Phew ...

1. The USA adds a chit to the Japanese entry pool. There are 4 chits in the Japanese entry pool and 3 in the tension pool.

2. There are 4 chits in the Germany/Italy entry pool and 3 in the tension pool.

3. The USA choose no additional option this turn.

Well, I'm not sure France and China are really all that active anymore.
