Are there any plans on releasing a x64 bit version of Command?

As it is now, the maximum amount of memory that a standard windows x32 application can use is 2GB, no matter how much RAM you actually have in your physical machine.

Also a x64 application gains a performance boost in many areas just by the fact that it is a 64 bit application.

If there are a lot of people still using x32 bit versions of windows, then perhaps it would be possible to release a "x64 binary package" along with the standard releases. The "Binary package" would then only contain the x64 build of the .exe and .dll files that go in the root folder of the install.

And as time goes by, you could at some point switch to release x64 as the standard release and supply a x32 binary package for those who need it.

I think the devs know what a 64 bit system provides. Its been talked about a few times.

There are plans, but not for the immediate future.

If your organization urgently needs the capability to run Command in native x64 mode, please contact us through the professional channel to discuss.

Thanks.

Don't know if its the small scenarios I use but my RAM hardly gets used by CMANO at the moment.

As a side comment, we have noticed that other PC's with Windows 10 are now requiring more RAM if they on 2GB RAM. Windows 10 is slowly creeping upwards in base RAM required it appears. I guess in the future, those with 32bit arch will need to upgrade to the (now standard) 64bit to add more RAM. Mainly OS issue at the moment though not to mention cybersecurity apps eating at it too. Munch munch.

I have played some very large scenarios with no issue on memory.
