Greetings,

My Japanese opponent from my current BTS game has disappeared, and isn't responding to my emails. Therefore, to feed my addiction, I am looking for a Japanese opponent for BTS, BTS lite, or FP. I do not really have a preference, though BTS lite/BTS will be the least work on my part.

I'm on EST, but I have no restrictions on location. This will be my 3rd active MP game, so I don't want to make any promises on time commitment; however, I am probably good for a turn a day after things get going. Also, since it's my third active MP game, I am open to it if you want to play a more leisurely game as well.

I am pretty easy to get along with (I think) and tend to treat the game as more of a "simulation" than a game--plus I tend to do aggressive and stupid things. :D I'm looking for an opponent who thinks similarly to me, but doesn't take the competitive aspect of the game too seriously.

House rules:

Open to negotiation!

Other than that, I know we are talking about heavily modded "what if" game here; however, I'm pretty serious about the "simulation" aspect. In other words, just fight the war like the Japanese would have actually fought it. What does this preclude? Well a historical warp invasions mostly. In reality, I'm cool with you invading anywhere as long as it makes strategic sense for you to do so, not because the game mechanics make it possible. So you clear the DEI and NG? Perfectly reasonable to invade northern Australia.

Invading Perth, the West Coast, or Hawaii in December of 1942, not so much.

Message me if interested!

Hi Revthought,

Which versions of FP would you be looking at? Maybe Scenario 71?

Hello;
I'm new purchase of War in the Pacific, but already with many hours of gameplay as Japan, and I possess a solid historical background, on WWII in particular;

Much interested in a PBEM game - rather than battling against the faulty AI;
I cannot guarantee you though no early Hawaii invasion, because it's a feat that makes a lot of sense - and actually the americans were terrorized by the eventuality, but probably not feasible, especially if you start, as I always prefer , with the historical set up;

I'd be pleased hearing by you,

Adar-
