I found this game two weeks ago and it has been driving me up the wall ever since. Yes I have RTFM before you ask, Yes I have been on the forum searching and YES I have watched YouTube videos on how to play. Tortuga's 12 episodes opened my eyes to a fecking lot of where I had been going wrong. Some of the ideas you all have mentioned for instance on the research tree have really helped out.

After restarting soooooooooooooooooooooo many times I now have a Universe running where I feel I kind of know what's going on. That's a worry in itself as usually it means I get my arse kicked (I'm playing on Normal Lvl not easy before you ask for my 1st proper game.)

Who gives two figs for the graphics! It's the game play that gets you without a doubt.

God help me if this ever becomes multipayer!

Anyways. Thanks for the game Dev's and to other players out there I hope I don't do your head in too much with the questions that will follow as I get more into the game!

Cheers

PB

DW won't have multiplayer. DW2 might though.

this game will keep him busy for a long time, should be enough until part two comes out.

Welcome to the Universe, Psychobilly. Yes, it IS addicting. I found this game the week AFTER the Christmas sale ended in 2015. Was intrigued by the write up, watched part of one youtube video, and bought the game at full, yes full, price. I haven't stopped playing it since. Don't worry, you're never really going to know what's going on completely. Actually, some of the best games I've played, I didn't win. Or if I did, it was a near run thing. After you have played a while, you will find those games are the ones you learn the most from. Happy gaming!!

Yeah I just picked this up. I experimented a little bit, was overwhelmed, watched Das24680's tutorials, and now I'm digging into a normal game as the Atuuk. I'm totally hooked on this game. It's satisfying my desire for depth that I found lacking in Stellaris. The complexity and ability to automate (and fine tune the automation) for the things I'm not that interested in is fantastic.
