N. Atlantic round 2, searches of 7/9 resulted in no combat. CP aborted to Plymouth (sub should be disorganized)
BoB. Italian bomber intiated. Searches of 6/8 resulted in no combat.
W. Med. Italian fighter in the 2-box initiated. rolls of 7/8 resulted in no combat.

I will be out for the next 6-7 hours.
OK, have a nice outing. I'll be occupied this afternoon watching college football, especially, Texas A.M. vs Alabama starting at 2:30 CST. Roll Tide!

JA41 i2:
Two Ground attacks. The CW can support with air support if desired. I can intercept the northern one for sure, I do not believe I can the southern attack.

Any support?

Turn 12. Jul/Aug 1941. Allied #3. Naval Moves. Bay of Biscay.

The Bay of Biscay will be the only contested sea area in which the axis will have an opportunity to try to initiate a naval combat. The allies will not attempt. But before all that the RN moves a loaded transport into the sea area.

Do you wish to attempt an intercept? If so, which unit would you like to use?

Do you wish to try to initiate a naval combat in the allies choose not to, which they want? If so and assuming you didn't attempt to intercept the transport, which unit would you like to use for the attempt?

I'm not sure if any additional air units are available, but if they are would you like to add them?

1) I will attempt to intercept the transport. Initiate with the Hungarian fighter (use for any combat during this impulse).
2) I will also attempt naval combat assuming things look similar to now.
3) I will not fly any other plans out at this time.

Engage the 2-box only, with 6 SP. Make it a naval air. No air combat I believe and your AA is ineffective, so I'll save all SP for moving my result up 3 columns to X 2D 2A
First X on Transport.
My D on transport if damaged, else the Royal Sovereign.
My last A on what is left in the following order (Royal Sovereign, Java, Transport).

Added in edit: I will stay for round 2.

1. Do you wish to lose the fighter or the Italian bomber?

2. Do you wish to stay for additional air rounds?

3. Instructions for adding additional air (if any) after this round?

1. Lose the fighter.
2. Anybody who does not clear on the next roll, will abort the next air round.
3. No new planes after this round (the ones I want cannot make it to the 2-box).

In the second naval round, I do not wish to fight any more than the one air to air round. The two bombers abort back to their sea zones. I will stay for a third set of search rolls (I am not leaving the sea zone yet). Sorry it was not completely clear earlier.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure I understood your instructions. Now I do.

Turn 12. Jul/Aug 1941. Allied #3. Bay of Biscay. Round 3.

Round 3 was anti-climatic, to say the least, but the failed search results certainly suit the allies.

JA41 i4: Naval Combat Options
Germany took a land while Japan and Italy take combined actions.
No naval moves for any power.
The Germans moved three fighters into the BoB and the Italians one NAV (all into the 2-box).
In the W. Med, the Germans move a fighter into the 2-box and the Italians drop the Fighter in the 1-box to the 0-box.
I will be initiating searches in both zones. You only have NAV's that could react and I suspect they will stay in place. Let me know if I am wrong.

No additional air units in any sea areas. Roll high ... for axis search that is.

The allies will avoid combat if they can.

Sorry to leave at this critical time but it's my bedtime.

JA41 i4: Naval Combats
The CW is happy.
BoB, the IT Gabianno (NAV in the two box) initiates the searches. The Italian fighter on the N coast of Spain reacts to the 1-box. Search rolls of 7/7 result in no contact.
W. Med, The Italian fighter in the 0-box initiates the searches. A German fighter on the E coast of Spain reacts to the 0-box. Search rolls of 8/8 result in no contact.

Two attacks. No support available for the partisan defenders in France. In Spain, the odds were so overwhelming against the division, that I made the decision for you not to support the defended.

Turn 12. Jul/Aug 1941. Allied #5. Contested Sea Areas (Post Naval Moves).

The allies chose not to try to initiate naval combat in any of the contested sea areas. The axis, as the non-phasing player, had no opportunity to try due to the fact that the allies added neither ships or planes to any of the three areas.
