Hi,

I see in the manual (and in video aars) the weather and terrain condition on the left-down corner of screen, just under hex coordinates, but actually playing the game the display just show the hex coordinates without any information about climate. It's a bug? It's a missing feature? Thanks.

Hi Ataquerojo,

Can you tell me what resolution you are playing the game at? This should be the same as your desktop resolution.

Thanks,
Hubert

Hi Ataquerojo,

At that resolution it should show in game and I just mention this as it only will not be displayed at very low resolutions such as 1024x768 as there simply isn't enough room on screen to show all of this detailed information.

Could you post a screenshot of the game, i.e. of what you are seeing or not seeing, or link to one if the forum does not yet allow you to attach an image?

Thanks,
Hubert

Hi Hubert,

You have a private message with screenshot of rainy weather.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Where can you change the game's screen resolution? Unlike Sc2 no resolution screen menu appears at start up and I can't find any entry field in options/settings. My laptop is 1920 x 1080 but when playing global conflict I needed to play the game at 1600 x 900 to get the full screen info in so I don't know if the same is required for this new game.

Btw I already had high expectations from watching the excellent beta videos/AAR and I'm happy to report the game more than lives up to them - great fun so far (Fall of France so Barbarossa still to come).

Hi Ironclad

I sent a screenshot of the issue to Hubert yesterday. I'm playing at same screen resolution that you, maybe it's the problem??

No, it can't be the screen resolution.
I'm playing with 1980x1080 too, and I have no problems at all.

Maybe it would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot from your screen, and a link to the picture where something else can be seen (of what you're currently missing).

Here is a partial screenshot from the game on my system, note the only information on the bottom left are the hex grid references:

Here in contrast is a partial from Paradogs Gamers series which shows much fuller information in the bottom left. I know his is a beta but I understand the game version has equivalent information if maybe slightly rearranged.

Ah, ok, thank you, now I understand your pain.

This is how the screen looks on my side (1920x1080):

When I compare our both screens (mine is 1980x1020) yours is zoomed in much closer.
What is the native / optimal solution for your notebook?

Its 1920 x 1080 - its recommended level when I purchased it and confirmed in its display settings (I've put a screenshot of that on the other post).
