JF42 i5 Land attacks, both went well for the axis.

What you'll see below is the poorest set of search rolls I have every seen. In the pacific, I had a 40% or better in all zones except one, where I rolled a 3 and needed a 2. I did find in one zone and destroyed 2 CP. But I was not able to cut supply to the Philippines.

CVB, Skua reacted to 0-box. Rolls of 8/7 resulted in no contact.
Central Atlantic, sub initiated and Blenhiem flew to 3-box. Rolls of 5/8 results in no contact.

Cape Naturaliste the CV initiates (both vessels now disorganized). Rolls of 8/6 result in no contact.
No combat initiated in the Marshalls
South China Sea the Ashigara initiates (it and the Idtumo should be disorganized). Rolls of 10/6 result in no contact.

I just got through disorganizing 12 ships and planes. I'll be really glad when the next version of MWiF comes out which I understand will fix this bug.

With respect to your search die rolls, all I can say is wow ... I feel extremely fortunate.

Pat, I hope this is ok but I took the liberty of moving the Soviet CA Voroshilov from the force pool and putting him in Leningrad. I don't know if you've been following a couple of other threads where this has been discussed but the Voroshilov should have arrived for the Soviets in May/June 1940.

No problems. I have seen the issue being discussed. If this makes a difference, I've probably lost anyway :-). I have seldom seen the USSR being able to take a naval or combined when the ports are not frozen.

Group 4 (Port Said) RN CA Palnoja (4-2)

1. Do the axis wish to intercept?

2. If so, which groups and which unit would they like to use for the attempt?

2 unescorted CPs located at Pago Pago moved into the Polynesian sea. I made an assumption that you would wish to attempt an intercept, which failed. If this was a bad assumption on my part I can "reorganize" the 5-3 sub that was used for the attempt.

5. Did you wish to have attempted that intercept?

I will intercept every group. Use the Condor to initiate.

Yes, use the Ju 87R (3 NAV factor) to initiate.

It is fine. They will certainly intercept any transports that move this way. Now, both subs should be disorganized.

RN Group #1 is successfully intercepted by the German Condor NAV. The RN CA Berwick decides to stop and got to the 0-box of the East Med.

Because of the successful intecept by the axis of the heavy cruiser Berwick, which stopped and went to box 0, the RN decides to move the AUS CA Canberra down from the 1-box to the 0-box and voluntarily stops the CA Dalmacija (Group 4) in the 1-box.

The CW will Not attempt to initiate combat in the East Med.

1. I assume that the axis will want to try. Correct?

If I have 2-3 SP move your attack column down 1 to ne.
If I have 4-5 SP move my attack column up 2 to D 3A.
If I have 6-7 SP move my attack column up 3 to 2D 3A.
If I have 8+ SP move your attack column down 1 and mine up as far as possible.

Do you wish to fly out any additional air? (He 111H and BF 110D available).

If so where?

I don't see a 3 factor NAV (Ju 87R) is the Bay of Biscay. Which unit would you like to use for the combat attempt?
