When playing the Allies, how do you guys use the US MPPs before they enter the War? I generally put all in research and start producing units after entry. Any other approach?

Yup, all early MPP go into research. When the war begins, there's more than enough time and MPPs to buy units for Torch, Husky and Overlord, but not falling being (and actually being ahead) in research is of utmost importance.
