I was gonna post some more helpful articles on this subject, but I still can't post links? Thought it'd been 7 days by now... oh well.

Just search the Defense Technical Information Center for "naval mines", "MIW" "MCM", etc. I also found a couple good articles on the Undersea Warfare Magazine's website and the Federation of American Scientists website. The National Academies Press (NAP) is a great resource as well.

I like to add mines to most of my scenarios, very interesting and little 'gamed' aspect of modern marine warfare
