I've been out of the loop on this one...how much different (and better) is it than the original Command Ops? Thanks.

Download the free demo and give it a try. The demo comes with 3 scenarios, play them to your hearts content. the commanders pack is a hell of a value.

Hey patrick, yes as budd said, the core game is free, three scenarios can tell you a lot, I think its better than the original, the interface especially.

Are Command Ops games of the same series as COTA and HTTR?

Yes they are, and HTTR and COTA are upgraded and for sale in the improved engine, there called different names now. So be aware if you don't want to buy those again and just want to get the new stuff. The commanders pack is basically HTTR,COTA,BFTB, Westwall and Knock on all doors is the new stuff.

Any idea how long that sale will last? I checked their Media and Forum pages and missed any kind of announcement. I've been meaning to download the free game and give it a shot. Would like to still do that before buying anything else.

EDIT: Ah, I did some more checking and found something that said "This offer ends in 14 days..." OK, so that makes it about January 2.
