Hello there. As far as I understood, to create an fp9 file for the Red Storm map, I need to load the .png file into the Map Values FCRS editor and do an All Layers scan of it. However, I get this while trying to do so. I wonder is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly?
Version of the game is Steam 2.0.11s.

Hi Ardi,

thanks for reporting this problem. In order to figure out what is causing the problem, I have a few questions:
- does the crash occur when loading the .png file or when performing the scan?
- do you happen to have an older .fp9 file with the same file name in the same folder from which you load the .png file?
- what are the dimensions of the .png file (width and height in pixels)?

I'd appreciate if you could share the .png file.

William
p.s. this is a QGis exported .png, isn't it?

- The latter. Though when I'm loading the .png file, the game tells me I need to have the .fp9 file with the same name in Maps folder.
- No.
- 2572x3285

Yes, it's QGis exported file. Uploaded in the post.

Thanks for the info and upload.

This is a bug in the Map Values Editor, most likely introduced in the last 2.0.11 update.

Work around:
If you have a Matrix version, you can install a 2nd copy of the game in another folder, and not update it all the way to 2.0.11. (2.0.6 or newer should do the job). That 2nd copy would allow you to successfully scan maps, while we create a fix for this problem.
