Nice.
I managed to take the 3rd VP on the last German turn.
A bit of luck involved with a couple of Canadian units going OOC on the last couple of turns :).
Something that took me by surprise was the Canadians initiating close combat with the odds
slightly against them in the dying stages of the game .
If they had of survived a full turn or won the CC I`m not certain I would have taken the 3rd VP.
In that instance and scenario the AI performed well .
Good Fun :)

Hi mates,
I did Putot-en-Bessin 1 tonight and was less skilled than Fuselex, got only 2 VP for a minor victory.
But what a nice scenario, what a nice moment with a really challenging IA.
Really nice.
One more time, thank you Rico for your time and the pleasure you bring us, t'es un pote toi ;-) !!!

Thanks for the feedback men, very useful to measure scenario difficulty!
But warning, to be in my friend list is not always a good thing, ask to Fuselex!

Rico21, Speaking of play balance the Silent Death scenario you translated to TotH is extremely difficult to win as the Finnish Sissi commandos. Looking at the scenario sheet you can see how the Russians are asleep and are only awaken on a roll of 2 or less. The Finns, which were concealed, were using MOL to set the buildings ablaze which gave double victory points. Many Russians burned to death while sleeping! TotH, as it is now, cannot simulate many of those special abilities so porting over an ASL scenario would inherently be unbalanced. Setting up the Finns adjacent to the Russians as a way of getting around the concealment requirement was a good work around. Need lots of creativity to balance out ASL for TotH. SeeYa!

I have the soul of a chess player,
Which means three things when I create a scenario:
1- I solve adaptation problems in an abstract way
2- I use all my units in my mind attack / defense
3- I do not care about not staying true to the original scenario
.......
4- I hope that UP844 will lose !!!

In "Putot-en-Bessin 1" I only managed to get a Minor Victory , thanks to a lucky 120mm OBA that landed straight on the southern MMG, breaking and/or killing everyone around .

In your "Frankenstein" scenario my proud Britons were slaughtered by a bunch of Nazis: I suppose you designed the scenario as a WW II conversion of the battle between the Aliens and the Marines in "Aliens" (they're comin out of the walls!!)

Thanks for the huge amount of scenarios you make, anyway!!
