Hey waltero, it's been awhile, but you should definitely consider picking up this new edition.

A lot of things will be familiar, but the biggest difference(IMO) is the ability to de-select a unit and still be able to reselect it later and use its remaining APs.

Makes the game play a whole lot different.

There are some different tech choices and a variety of new units, lots of decision events, and the naval game is more interesting with units able to continue on(in most circumstances) after making enemy contact.
