I have been playing around with the editor and Have a couple of questions.

1. When placing units, what do you do to place them with upgrades? IE. Starting with the 1939
game, I set U-boat research level to 1 but when I place a new boat, after removing all
starting ones, they are still at level 0 but can be upgraded in the game.

2. After adding a German port (and other times also) I get a screen that said that I need to
upgrade scrips, when I try it starts with guards and I see a number increasing and
repeating but it never finishes and finally tells me the game is not responding and quits.

3. after adding the port and failing on upgrading scrips when I started the game all, both
allied and axis, convoy routs were gone. I didn't find a way to add them back in.

Any help will be appreciated.

1. Right click on unit, choose Properties.

2. I've never seen this, but it does take some time to update some of them [Decision and Unit seem to take the longest]. Suggest you wait longer, like 20 minutes, before deciding that it is not working.

3. Scripts must be updated [no asterisks] in order for the game to work properly.

1. Yea found this after I posted.
2. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. updated when I did it 1 at a time
3. Started with a fresh copy, changed everything I wanted too but when I updated scripts
all the convoy routes disappeared again after updates completed. It seems to be related
to adding a German port in the Baltic as I have done all the other things before.

Update. I found it. although it didn't prompt me to go there I found a 2nd set of scripts
that needed updating, event scripts, now it works, thanks.
