   | Here are a some minor changes to DB3000 Weapon_1825 the SA-6a GAINFUL 9M336:
Database gives weight of 599 Kg, and a range of 1.5-13 nm, and an target altitude of 250-46,000 feet AGL, with a missile speed of 1290-1740 knts and a warhead of 59kg.

According to the sources below, these numbers should be (ussing the initial production Kub, IOC 1967):

 Weight: 630 kg
 Range: 3.2-11.9 nm
 target alt: 328-22,965 ft
 Warhead:57 kg

For the Kub-M3 (IOC 1976) the numbers would be:
 Weight: 630 kg
 Range: 2.15-13.50 nm
 target alt: 65-26,247 ft
 Warhead:57 kg

The sources below (except the OPFOR guide) also say the max speed is 600 m/s (1166 knts). OPFOR gives the missile speed at 700 m/s. However, this seems a little low to me, and I wonder if this 600 m/s represents the initial boost phase velocity.

[edited: Yep, the 600 m/s must be the boost phase. The missile eventually accelerates to approx. Mach 2.8, according to http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-2K12-Kvadrat.html ]
