French military presence in overseas territories is barely enough to control illegal fishing in EEZ waters, what would happen in case of a serious crisis ?

New Caledonia is an island rich in mineral ressources, with 10% of the world's nickel reserves and a huge EEZ. In an uncertain future it could attract attention of expansionist powers.

And French reinforcements would be very very far away...

Hi

very nice scenario set up

some feedback
1. did you mean for all sides to be playable ?
2. I found the yacht, but no event triggered, its very difficult to follow it as precisely as you specify.
3. whats the point of the vessel just north of Tasmania, or is that revealed latter

Hi Jorm, thank you for your feedback

1/ Only the French side is playable. I should have mentioned that in the scenario presentation.
2/ Yes the micromanaging of the helicopter to provoke a reaction from the yatch is a bit cumbersome. You have to zoom in, lower the altitude to 1000ft, align your course on the yatch et reduce the speed to approach it smoothly, then when you close in under 200m, "something" happens. Maybe I will add a message event to make this more clear...
3/ This vessel is mentioned at the end of the side briefing, it will be placed under your command later in the scenario.

Haven't had a chance to try this one but for the point on playable sides - there is a check box in the side set up menu where you can designate a side as not playable.
