I made some new interface graphics mods for UV, if someone will like the idea, I’ll post more, alternative set for Japanese player and another one for US. Here is one example - main menu with SBD on background.

Hi Raverdave

I’m glad you like it. I copied SBD, when I will able to create such images by myself I will leave my law practice and will try myself as graphic designer :)

Edit: I was trying to replace preview in my previous post with full scale I-400 image – start game loading screen, but server is not allowing me to post attachments, changes submitted and empty screen than. So it’s only SBD file available now.

Do you have one for 800x600 resolution Subchaser?

Yes I have some alternative UV art in 800 resolution, but I’m afraid I can’t post, server doesn’t allow me to post attachments, I believe I’ve exhausted my limit or something like that. Although, if you like it I can mail it to you.

One more example, alternative naval bombardment graphics for IJN player, it is Yamato again, but in true colors now. It’s jpeg, save it as bmp image to the ART folder.

Subchaser..those are indeed sharp. I love the colors on the Yamato! The crew must be in a tight spot..the two forward turrets have different gun elevations and the aft turret is firing astern. ;)

Maybe you can get Spooky to post 'em on his site.

Indeed. Would love to have that one also. :) Please send the files to Spooky so he can host them.

Will it work in both resolution settings?

Thanks for your respond, I’m glad you like these images and whole idea. I’ve mailed Spooky and probably he will post them on his website, may be those you have already seen, may be new ones, I don’t know cause there is a problem with their size, a major problem for hosting, as jpeg they’re loosing in quality (so if you like those two files above, download them again from Spooky’s site for better quality) and as 24*bmps they are too big.

I’m afraid not, both resolutions have their own files, since I’m playing with 1024 resol. and was doing those image for my personal use, most of them are in 1024 resl. I will rework those with easy graphics for 800 resol.

Oh, that would explain why I'm not seeing the main menu new pic of the plane, would'nt it? UV does'nt play very well for me in 1024 mode so I always use 800. 800 is what I use for my desktop and my other games as well.

Please do make new versions for the rest of us. :)
