Okay very annoyed right now I have the Soviets pretty much reeling and moving on Leningrad. There are some spots of holdouts in my rear area but I thought, hey, they're cut off, not moving. Time to bypass and move on. Then a Tank Corps and two Infantry Corps pop up next to another Corps in Kaunas, near Warsaw, and Wilno.

I had this area completely cut off. How does the computer AI justify dropping in production units in cut-off pockets of the Soviet Union? Did the factories in Kaunas make them and supply three corps of manpower??

Very annoyed.

So I took out the rear area corps, now there are multiple tank corps and more infantry coming from the Siberia area. It's only mid-1942, I took Leningrad and liberated Egypt, but unsure if I can handle the Sovs even with raiders on the supply chain. Tell me things can get better. Will the Russians wear themselves out before my supplies run out? Have I missed some fundamental rule in taking Russia on early in the game? thanks for any comments

You shouldn't be able to place new builds in cities cut off from a primary supply source, no?

Can you show us a screenshot?
I'm wondering the area in question had port access on the Baltic. Wouldn't that enable them to place new builds?

The problem is that after the USSR occupies the Baltic States their capitals turn into Soviet Industrial Centers.

Industrial Centers allow the production of units within areas linked to them, as well as full supply.

This is something I noticed recently and hope to change, as along with another thing I've also changed this should make the initial Axis advance smoother and remove some of the pocket issues that have cropped up.

Great, glad to hear it, thanks Bill!
