Don and I tested Barbarossa again today and had a problem when his laptop went into hibernation mode. The Russians had finished setting up and the German set-up was in progress. So we tried to recover from the auto-save, but like yesterday that save file had a problem although a different problem from yesterday. The instant the Germans placed their CP and DD Flotilla in Romania, the Russian PC got a MadExcept.

We tried this a few times before homing in on what was causing it, so 3 MadExcepts were sent.

We noted that the Russian screen showed those 2 naval units as OoS. Here is a screen shot from the German PC.

Here is the auto-save file from the German PC.

We had made a very early manual save during the Russian set-up and were able to restore successfully from that point.

So now we are in the habit of manual saving with greater frequency and have made it to the Action Choice phase.

Here is the Soviet Screen Shot / Note the Rumanian DDs is Out of Supply / I don't "see" the German Convoy . . . While Paul's Screen Shot shows (both the DD and the Convoy) In Supply . . . Given Bucharest is just two hexes away (and it's Fine Weather), not sure why the Rumanian DDs are Out of Supply. Thanks, Don.

There is a problem with attached files to the forum. Could you please email me the file?
