This apparently originally came from a technical blog but the source was not named where I saw it. It's a translation of a technical error window into what the average computer user sees in their mind when they read the technical warning. I think we should start incorporating these sorts of warning's in AE, and probably in AAR's as well.

Hoyvin-Glayvin! I thought we were the only household bizarre enough to use that epithet!

I sent this to a client yesterday. They told me to Launch Photon Torpedoes. You can expect the banking system to crash sometime today

Football, (that is real football!!!!), has a back judge, a side judge, a field judge, a line judge, an umpire, a head linesman, and a referee. They are studying the need for a swimsuit judge.

Well, they could re-employ some of those basketball referees who were forced into retirement when they got rid of those silly old uniforms.

All Things Pondered. This thread has been quiet for a couple of days. You'll never catch the Thread if you stop pondering. The Thread might claim the count has been reset once or twice. But, it's the score on the board that matters. Increment this thread by one. That's what I pondered today.

Looks to me that its because the gorn/Steve AAR has hit a snag and everyone is over there watching that CF.

What so you are saying re the first turn:

They are not at the end, they are not at the beginning of the end. But they are perhaps, at the end of the beginning?

No. I think he meant to say that an "Iron Curtain" has fallen on the first turn and we cannot fathom what is underway on the other side.

That's right, it's not the end of the beginning, but the beginning of the end.

I am not sure you have even gotten to the beginning of the beginning yet.

Now this is not the beginning. It is not even the beginning of the beginning. But it is, perhaps, the beginning of the prelude.

It is the start of the initiation to an overture of a beginning of a prelude.

Many a pilot has decided to teach their plane to swim. I am unaware of any boat captain that even attempted to teach their sub to fly, except maybe that one in "Red October".

On a more serious note, since coppers have night-sticks, what are they supposed to do during the day?

No, no - they have now renamed the stick as a "baton", so during the day they either conduct with it or have a pretty girl spin it around and throw it in the air to distract the evil doers.

Use a gun? Or a TAZER? Or in the UK yell "OI!".

James Bond has a car that flies, and car that's a submarine...maybe in the next 007 movie we'll see a flying submarine.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea already had a flying submarine. Always looked painful when it changed from flying to submersible status.

Yes, and after they put it to use it can accurately be described as a baton rouge.

Here's one I can post in full. She liked horses (don't they all?).

Isn't everyone glad we're off that page with Ron Jeremy in it?

I think she's financially secure but she lives in a cabin somewhere in the Ozarks.

There's one flaw in this pic, those boots are a man's boots, too big for her, but she did like wearing very fashionable knee-high boots.

If she's financially secure, what the heck is she doing living in the Ozarks ?
