I put in a few turns of Space Empires IV and HPS Campaign Wagram this week, playing the campaign game, taking some deviations from history in the campaign game and seeing where it will get me - currently trying to get a part of my army off Lobau island, but the austrians keep cannoning my efforts to rebuild a bridge there, for the rest of my army i will screen and trying a flanking maneuver to the north

Strategic Command 3 and Hearts of Iron III with Blackice mod. The first is okay, but the second is a fine experience. One of the best.

Thanks for mentioning that mod. I just installed Hearts of Iron III on my new computer yesterday and had forgotten all about the BlackICE mod. Now will be the perfect time to add it to the fresh install of HoI3.

Tried WW1:CE..... got stuck on Turn 2 with a battle I couldn't start. Even putting it under AI control.

Fleet Commander Nimitz (GMT) May/June '42 turn just lost the Lexington and Yorktown defending Midway... I'll send the Hornet and Wasp next turn. I'm on the verge of being relieved of command.

Also played 'War in the West'

ZIP OF SCREENIES

Playing a large Tigers Unleashed scenario using an historical map. Panzer Grenadier Battn '42 and a Panzer MKIII and IV long barrel Battn with air support attacks supposedly unoccupied village/town whilst Russian (AI) T34 Bttn with a Motorised Rifle Bttn (tank brigade) and air support.

German air support causing Russians difficulties.

Considering the size of map and amount of units pretty happy with speed of turns. Though players not familiar with TU will have you get used to TU turn time (games like this do something else but have the combat report on screen whilst turn runs. At some point improvements to the combat report will be made. This will make watching a turn play out through the combat report a tense and nail biting experience. The report will become a big part of the actual gameplay experience and so turn time becomes less of an issue. TU is unlike all other tactical wargames in how you approach and play it..I suppose in away it's closer to Command Ops than anything else.

this might seem obscure but i just installed Windows XP mode on my system today and installed "Stars!" (i couldnt get it to install in windows 7} it is a good old 4x game, alot like Master of Orion but alot more scientific elements to it, such as the elements that determine hospitable planets

windows xp mode seems a great way to access some older games!

also i put in little more of TES Oblivion - I have been playing it on and off since 2007, i need to just finish it once and for all!

I have been hooked on Never Winter Nights 2 for the past couple of weeks, and rolling an interesting multiclass. I will probably play it to the end, then move onto something else.

And what multiclass is that, if I may ask?
