Hi all,
Last night I spend quite some time solving an issue when running CMANO. I at least found a way to solve the issue and would like to share this with the community so more people might benefit from my frustrations.
The issue is that I experienced issues with the UI buttons and menus on the right side of the screen, and with buttons such as the new big button on the realism menu at the start of a scenario.
These started 'flickering' and became unreadible during mouse-over. By mousing over them once more, the problems sometimes went away, but they would occur later on allover again. This was very frustrating and seriously took away the fun of playing.
I did not create any screenshots, but perhaps could do so if desired by devs or others.
After (several!) re-installs of the complete program, I finally figured that it was not a CMANO issue (at least, that is what I think with my very limited IT skills).
The problem eventually went away by disabling a program called Nahimic 2 (blue-ish logo with an N in italic). This apparantly is some 3D sound program (which I would not expect has anything to do with CMANO?) that is installed in my MSI laptop. After disabling, everything runs fine.
So, I disabled this program from automatically starting up (task manager, startup, disable) and CMANO runs smooth again. And once again I am a happy gamer :-).
The one thing that was strange to me is that CMANO was the only program which showed this behavior, all other programs installed worked fine (as far as I noticed). Perhaps this last piece of info is interesting for the devs?
Anyway, things are solved and hopefully this post can help others if they have similar problems...
