Long time lurker on the forums. I wanted to upload some EVE ship sets I've been working on. Made some editorial decisions (my beloved Dominix is now a passenger ship...oh well

Download Ships Here

I did use Kalthaniell's Amarr stations from here. I'll post an updated zip with my Amarr stations when I get some more time.

Instructions
1) Download the zip from above link.
2) Extract into your mod folder of choice (Use a mod folder, even if just for replacing ships...don't overwrite the game originals...it's just not a good idea).
3) RENAME the extracted folders after the "Family" folder you would like to replace.

If you're not sure what species uses what folder, check out the text files in your mod's /races folder. Each species text file will list a "DesignsPictureFamilyIndex" that will correspond to the numbered "Family" folder of ship images. For example, my mod assigns humans to a DesignsPictureFamilyIndex of 6, so I would replace the folder "Family6" with the images shipset of my choosing to change the in-game ship designs of humans.

Status: offline 		Looks nice, but if possible you may want to try to lighten them just a bit. Being too dark will make them hard to see against the star field background.

TBH, they are dark enough now that even as previews I'm losing some of the details.

Status: offline 		These are really good, will probably be using the Gallente ships for myself! Thanks very much for your work!

The only real issue I have though, is your choice for the Gallente Escort..I don't remember what that ship is in Eve, I don't think its even around anymore but its like...the most retarded ship design I've ever seen ever anywhere (even for the Gallente :P)

I would have preferred the Nemesis https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Nemesis in it's place. Other than that though, Im super excited to get back into DW now with these shipsets.

@Shark7 Happy to take a look at that. With the preview, it's against a stark white, so it makes them seem dark. In game they look pretty good, IMO. But I'll see about lightening. The stations have a weird gray outline in my games.

@Unforseen It's the Atron/Taranis, the Gallente frigate/interceptor Taranis UniWiki. Can swap out for another ship, though. The Nemesis is pretty ballin'.

I temporarily lost my Photoshop hookup. Transferring to another department where I'm doing more video stuff. They swapped out my Photoshop license for Premiere and After Effects.

Status: offline 		edit, lol what made you go with that one? It's soo weird. I thought it was an old design that CCP replaced but just checked it and its still in use. Sometimes I wonder if the original team that designed the ships in Eve was stoned. :P

Haha, I was a Gallente when I played. Spent a lot of time in a Taranis for my corp, tackling and whatnot. Picked a frigate model that didn't look like garbage from top-down (though the incursus ain't bad).

Yeah Some ship designs are pretty wonky...especially the old ones before the big graphics revamp a few years ago.

In the meantime, you could swap out the bomber pic for the escort. Bomber looks pretty good. Taranis will be super tiny as a bomber, so it won't be as noticeable.

Status: offline 		Personally, I would have used Interceptor hulls for Exploration ships (Interceptors are often used for rapid scouting now due to their bubble immunity)

Status: offline 		Still haven't gotten my game going, but I noticed while previewing the Caldari ships that they all have a white outline around them..is that normal?

Might look like that in preview, but in game they are fine. Stations have an outline. Not sure what's going on. But ships are good!
