Hi, I would like to know if would be possible to translate the sea areas and countries names changing the names in the data files? anyone knows if these names are important to the program or processes code?

Names are important, since certain units have to arrive in particular cities according to the rules. If you would change the name of f.e. Berlin, the Berlin MIL can't arrive on the map. I also don't know what will happen with the names of territories or countries too...

You are right abot the cities with militia units o special powers (London, Gibraltar, Kiel) Centuur, I know it. But I have read in players manual that sea zones , countries and territories use an ID field to program processes. Maybe then, those names could be changed without breaking the code processes , I wonder. The reason is I play with some friends that don´t speak or read english very well and I thought to translate the names to make them maps more familiar. I have changed some names (rivers, some ciies (like my city, Zaragoza ) without problem but before following translations I prefer ask because is not an easy work (the new names must be adjusted to the hexes in many cases).

I have checked change sea names, powers and territories and... it didn´t work.
