Hi,
When looking at the detailed Line by Line Air Combat results, does PATROL signify an auto-interception mission flown from an Airbase?

Also, to 'setup' auto-intercept , all I need to do is leave Squadron(s) on a Airbase that aren't specifically assigned to an AD?

How far will these typically range from their airbase?

Trying to protect my fledgling airbases early on in the Torch scenario and struggling with the right setup for AIR SUP AD's etc.
Any Advice welcome.

You can get a pretty good idea in game on how far you can intercept by looking at the aircombat details on the map.

You can see the stream path...when you started intercepting...and when you stopped
