I just opened my Finnish scenario archive page for SPWAW, at the moment it only have 2 historical scenarios (Kuuterselkä and Honkaniemi) but I have several more under work right now. If you are looking for a tought scenario for a weekend these might be just what you need. Scenario archive is in: http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Bunker/1489/ Just click the word "HERE" in text "Click HERE to enter SPWAW scenario archive" Feedback is welcomed. Ja kyllä, olen suomalainen (just letting my fellow finns know that sending feedback in finnish is allso ok).

I tested Jarkko's scenarios in v5.01 and they work fine. In fact, most v4.5 scenarios should work in v5.01 with no problem. If there is a glitch, load the scenario into the Editor, change the weather, save it back in it's same spot, reopen with the editor, switch the weather back to what it was and resave into it's slot. That should cure anything. (I've imported at least two v4.5 scenarios and didn't have to do anything to them, but the editor thing is there "just in case.") [ May 19, 2001: Message edited by: REMF ]

I found your site very interesting. You should mention to others about your links -- they are extensive and excellent. I especially enjoyed the link for hte Tigerfibel! Also like your background pictures. Oh, and of course, the scenarios looked great. I was not a big fan of the finnish-soviet conflict, but you have changed my mind.

The Honkaniemi one should work in version 4.5 allso as I build it with 4.5. But I am not 100% certain about Kuuterselka scenario, (could be worth to try), I made some changes to its map with map-editor from 5.01 and allso basically rebuild Soviet troops for it with 5.01 (as Soviet oob in 5.01 is very different compared to the one in 4.5 there might be some problems).

Well, I try to keep a good list of links. :) The typical battles in SPWAW (or any other war game that I have played) don't really seem to fit that well to Finnish part of WWII, might be that the terrain and troops were always too different compared to the ones that are more better known. Anyway I try to walk the fine line between historic exactness and making the scenario fun (playable and challenging). Everybody answered here: Thanks for your kind words. I will to make the next one just a little bit more easier. :D

Be sure to download these awesome scenarios! They are very accurate and also fun to play.
