Thanks, very interesting read, but it doesnt' mention the possibility to intercept the ARMs. Some capable SAM system shoyuld be able to do that. In CMANO this often happens while attacking last genenration russian SAM battieries.

Thanks for the article. It was interesting for me to learn how sidelobes & backlobes are used to target a radar.

I guess that acquisition range for ARM is a function of distance and angle from the mainlobe.

Does anyone know if that mechanic is modeled in CMANO?

I'm not sure, but considering the general level of detail in CMANO, I'd guess yes.

It's possible but very cost ineffective, and launching all you SAMs intercpting ARMs equals a mission kill.
