Is there a way to manually order airstrikes? I am unable to find it in the manual, as well.
By this I mean, to choose the aircraft that will, for example, fly to a "bomb airfield" mission.

To explain further, I order "bomb airfield" mode... the map changes to highlight possible/allowable targets... but does not allow all airfields in range, skipping some that are immediately beside others...problem #1.
Problem #2 is potentially worse... it assigns aircraft with no real idea of need... so that a small airbase may get 300 strikers, a large one 50...
Problem #3 is the worst by far however- and is related to #2 somewhat... it (the program) will, regardless of what I choose in the 'Air Doctrine"...
fly seemingly random strike packages... in some case flying 200 bombers unescorted (when the air doctrine I changed to have 150 escort,75 strike) resulting in heavy bomber losses when hitting
a defended airbase...or when I want strikers, it will fly 100 fighters, 30 strikers... and not a "fuel" issue or "range", because I can order the same airbase hit, again, immediately..and voila! there are suddenly 50/50 mix.

I am sure there was a way when I first played this, a few years ago, but now it escapes me...any help *greatly* appreciated.

Yes....

(5.3.7) Bomb Airfield Mode
Details: There are two methods for the player to conduct bomb air field missions' one target hex at a time. In either case, the player first has the option of selecting a specific staging base for the mission by left clicking on a hex with an air base. If the player does not select a staging base, the computer will automatically assign one for the mission.
For semi-automatic missions, right click on the desired enemy target hex that contains an airbase unit. The computer will automatically select air group units and conduct the bomb airfield mission.
For manual missions, Shift-right click on the desired enemy target hex with an air base unit. The 'Pick Air Units for Mission' window will display (5.4.29). Use left click to select or deselect air group units as desired and left click the 'Launch' button to conduct the bomb airfield mission.

I have one question relative to air strike, and especially ground bombing.

When you perform a ground bombing of an ennemy combat unit during your turn :
- You deal a small amount of damage.
- You deal some disruption of ennemy units.

My question is the following : Did the ennemy units stay "disrupted" until the end of the turn ?

I know that disruption is supposed to be converted to fatigue at some point. When this conversion occured ?

Did this conversion occured at the end of the ground bombing ? Or at the next logistic phase ?

Conversion occurs at the end of ground bombing, so they become weaker for the rest of your turn.

Ho. not sûre if it is a good news for air bombing fan.
Because a disrupted squad is out of action. But fatigue is less efficient.

If i disruped 10% of the ennemy unit, it will weaken CV by 10%.

But if the 10% disruption is converted to 10% fatigue, it will only weaken the unit by 3.33%. (100% fatigue = 33% combat value reduction according to manual (And also 100% fatigue = -10 movement points)).
