Aircraft seem to wait until into Reserve fuel until landing. They Loiter in the pattern until almost out of fuel.
Have several occurrences, started in build 12.x and still happens in 12.9.

I gave it a quick spin and everything seems to work as designed. Also added 20 additional F-104s with full fuel, assigned them to mission, and ordered a RTB. The A/C flew to the landing marshal area, and landed in pairs (as dictated by the number of available runways).

I'm seeing the same behavior at several airfields.
Spain and Portugal as well. Different aircraft.
A-7Hs loitered for 60 min
F-18s over an hour.

So I went in and cloned the units orbiting.
I ordered the new units to land, and they did so immediately. The old units stayed circling.
Strange.

Status: offline 		I had another look. Loaded scenario in v1.12 and pressed play. The aircraft proceeded to land immediately... weird...

Anyone else seen this?

Status: offline 		Yes, I've seen this, but if you load the save it won't duplicate as you saw before. What I tried was unassigning the landing plane(s) that were loitering forever, put them in a mission till they changed direction, then unassigned and sent to RTB, and then they landed.

They were 'stuck' somehow.

I've saved and restarted, updated, you name it.
I've has some crash after running out of fuel 10 miles from the base after orbiting for up to an hour.
Only way to get them to land is copy/clone and then order to land.

Maybe a bug with the way I've updated.
Will see with Chains.
