No WWII Database at this time, although I think there is some evidence that suggests it is being worked on... The CWDB does have some WWII assets, mainly US, British, and Japanese, but you can also find a few classes of German U-Boats under 'Generic'. As a rule of thumb, if it was in service after the war through the early 1950s, and not sunk, odds are it is there. Exception is stuff from the first year of the Pacific War, as there is US and Japanese assets to try and recreate some battles from 1941-42. Certainly one can make some WWII battles with the ships, subs and planes added, but some changes to the engine would also be needed. Better modeling of dogfights (close in aircraft maneuvering) would be needed, and I think it might be worth it to come up with a more processor friendly way of modeling battles with AAA and Naval Artillery, as some of those battles had tons of shells flying at any given time. Archive footage of battles in the Pacific, especially attempts to shoot down Kamikazes, show just how much firepower the US Navy threw into the air. Here is one such example, start about 40 seconds in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpSuE9BYuj4 And this too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgPzhXIA3KU The current model may work if you are talking about a 1941-42 Task force, but the 1944-45 fleets would make your processor hate you
