these the results:

140 recon missions on Ravenna

why? Am I wrong with target priorities?

latest beta 1.01.59, breaching the gothic line scenario, turn 1

i can only guess. Seems that it can't set unit's DL up to max level and keeps choosing the target.

Edit: if possible you might share save before air execution. thanks.

In the directive the setting has 'target priority' and hex numbers 132,238.
I don't know if that's Revenna's coordinates, but something to look at if you haven't already.

I'm sorry, I haven't the save because I have overwrited that before reading your edit.
if I can be useful: that save (of turn 1) was similar to starting situation of scenario, I did little changes, into recon air directive I probably did just the one to get 8 air groups on directive instead than 4 of default, and the changes into priorities as into pic

the target 132,238 is the center of recon directive area (center-south of violet area on pic)

Finally got a chance to look at it.

The problem is that scenario designer removed air base unit from Ravenna (by setting delay to 998), but air base data in the city is still pointing to the delayed unit. So game desperately tries to recon non-existent air base unit.

I'll make code adjustment, but it would be good to fix data as well.
