I think there might be an issue with the T80s in the database(s): Their first weapon is the 12.7mm machine gun, so it seems to prioritize it and the tanks try to drive into mg range to engage targets if not given specific orders to use their main guns.

Since CoW apparently treats infantry units different when transporting them I just want to clarify that the Gurkhas are not paratroopers. they are air assault infantry. In terms of CoW cargo they are "troops".

Yeah it loads the mounts and compiles them at landing into a new unit. Baloogan is awesome for doing it this way because you can break up units. This is absolutely fine in terms of infantry as they're all made of the same mounts anyways. You can rename the file to whatever you like when it recompiles at landings (Gurkas->Magnificient Bastards etc).

English is my second language so I might misunderstand you here, but what I ment to say is that the 2nd battalion Gurkas doesn't use parachutes, they are transported all the way to the ground.

The Polish Lubin-class LST, #2438, has no troop or cargo capacity in the database. Wikipedia says "They can carry up to 9 T-72 tanks or 17 transport vehicles such as the Star 266 and 135 equipped troops".

Database entries for Kh-35 (SS-N-25), Kh-59MK (AS-18 Kazoo B), 3M14E (SS-N-30), 3M54E,T Rocket Boosted Penetrator (SS-N-27) have uncertain characteristics of seekers. All of them has Active Radar Seeker with maximal detection range 5 nm and enough narrow angle of search.
According site of manufacturer real characteristics are:
1) target seeker ARGS-14E for 3M14E (SS-N-30)

    In its front section, this pod house a medium/long range bispectral sensor "DB-STARS" (1) (DUAL BAND STAND-OFF AIRBORNE RECONNAISSANCE SENSOR) and, in its rear section, an high speed low altitude linear infrared scanner "IRLS" (2) (Infra Red Line Scanner).

    I thus suggest to add a second #5194 - AREOS sensor plus one #910 - Generic Visual Reconnaissance Camera.

    While it's actual max range is not public, "several tens of kilometers" is advertised, up to 50 km from Air Fan magazine issue 367, so I'm a bit unsure on using a 5nm max range sensor, however other pods are also using similar sensors.


    Out of curiosity, AREOS mean "Airborne REcce Observation System". French Air force does have 12 of such pod while the navy have 6 of it, all delivered by April 2012.

    Request to add the Pacific 24 RHIB (United Kingdom) to the database.

    A small and fast RHIB that the RN employs in a range of roles (boarding, amphibious assault support, search and rescue, humanitarian, personnel transfer, etc).
    It can reach speeds of 38 knots, and can carry 6 passengers and 2 crew, and a GPMG can be mounted on the bow for fire support.
    The Type 23s and 45s can carry 2 each, while the upcoming QE carriers can carry 3.

    Another request, I guess for both databases: Can we have some generic civilian airship (for both databases, I guess) or perhaps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_Air_Vehicles_HAV_304_Airlander_10?

    Right now there is an Aerostat in the database, but that obviously cannot move.

    DB update suggestions:
    1.#2257 - Radar (59N6 Protivnik-GE)

    Current (446) DB states following numbers:
    Min. Range = 0.2 nm
    Search and track Frequency = C Band (500-1000 MHz) [Old L Band (UHF)] 60-30cm

    Suggestion:
    Min. Range = 10km as stated by developer [source1], seller [source2] and Ausairpower think tank [source3].

    Search and track Frequency = D Band (1-2 GHz) [Old L Band] 15-30 cm as stated by ru data list of developer [source4].
    The problem about the frequency is: there are different numbers stated by official military organizations.
    Seller (Rosoboronexport) states [source2] that the waveband is decimetric.
    Developer's english data list states [source1] that the waveband is SHF(centimeter).
    Developer's russian data list [source4] and Ausairpower [source3] state that the frequency is 23cm (1.3GHz)
    IMO, the lattest value (23cm) as the most precise should be used.

    2.[Not in DB] Mi-8MTPR-1 russian helicopter
    According to wiki Mi-8MTPR-1 is standard Mi-8MTV-5-1 with a 'Rychag-AV' active jamming station installed on board and cockpit armor plates removed. About 10 units were recieved by russian army.
    The main device of the craft is a Rychag-AV OECM intendend to replace Smalta OECM used on Mi-8SMV helicopters.

    Actually there is not much info about that OECM system in english.

    The DF-11AZT would therefore be a short-range ballistic missile, about 600 km long, which would paralyze fortified targets with at least two different penetrating head types.


    So, the original DF-11 variant was designed for anti-tank work against Soviet armoured groups and hence carried a cluster warhead. It's range was 300km.
    Then the DF-11A variant has an extended range of 600km. Other sources say that this variant mainly improves accuracy of the base missile.

    This DF-11AZT variant is a bunker buster carrying a dual-penetration warhead to take out Taiwanese underground aircraft shelters and command centres. Maybe even with improved CEP to carry out the task of hitting underground structures...

    Unsure how it would translate into the DB, nor it's note already done, however here are details on that sensor.

    It is an AESA, a Synthetic Aperture Radar, that does have a Ground Moving Target Indicator and Periscope Search features. It is able to track up to 1000 contacts, have an IFF mode and is able to merge datas from its different operation modes (data fusion ala Rafale).

    It weighs 80 Kg.

    From what I reckon as a reliable public source: "Atlantique 2 can carry six MU90 torpedoes in its bay".

    I thus suggest that Loadout #1950 is limited to 6 MU-80 instead of 8.

    First of all, thanks for the fantastic work on CoW - this should really add to the experience. :)

    I noticed that some ships are lacking a cargo capacity, most noteworthy in the case of various commercial cargo vessels. Any chance to give them some capacities in an update?

    Please add an additional ITALD loadout on F-18E/Fs from 4x1 to a total of 8. It should be able to carry 4x2 or atleast 2x1 and 1x3 TALDs on outermost hardpoints.

    And I know this is a pathetic link, but its hard to find graphical info of the C/D model. This shows the C/D being able to carry 2x2 TALDs. http://www.geocities.ws/f18_captain_usmc/allf18.html

    Its all within weight limitations and hardpoint role designations.

    From what I can see, the F-16 in Command is already using 2x2 MALDs, not 4x1 - and the navy says they support MER/TERs for the ITALD....

    In a worst case scenario for the USN F-18/F-35 attacking the most formidable IADS (without B-52 MALD Support) , I would imagine the F-18s to be the decoy trucks and the F-35s deliver the kill shot, either with the AGM-88E or the upcoming AAGRM-ER (F-35 internally mounted if desired).

    AGM-88E should be avail for F-35 block 4 as well, even though I can't find a source. Orbital TK says is "capable" today, which just means it needs IOC testing, not development. I'm sure the F-35Bs want them bad in case the navy isn't around and the F-35C will need them (external 1x2 or 1x4 loadouts for both F-35B/C) as the AAGRM-ER won't be IOC until 2023 or hopefully earlier. The airforce is doing IOC testing already apparently, for the AGM-88E, one could infer from this article.
