Just wondering what the rationale was for lowering cargo capacity for paradrop? On the C-130, the most hummers I can get is 3, with the 18 soldiers that come with it, it leaves me room for only 6 more paratroopers. 20 ton cargo capacity, but only 10 ton airdrop capacity. Here is a video of 4 HUMVEE and 50 paratroopers. And it looks like there is room for 5 Hummers as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxLi4gKprOo As well, the C-17 only has paradrop for 8 tons, and only has personnel cargo type, it cannot airdrop small cargo (like the HMMVW) at all. This video shows it dropping 8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tel_V3yoQVs And this video shows a Stryker (medium cargo) being dropped from a C-17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQwJnVad5L4 And Seals being dropped with patrol boats Please add this, as people have reported dropping cargo over the ocean and sinking. You can them just tell them to drop floatable cargo, haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsKID0P3Wys Overall, I am incredibly impressed with the cargo model. Kudos! But I'm sure there might be small issues like this. Heh, I was about to take up issue with the C-5 not being able to transport 2 Abrams tanks, but then I realized that it could transport 2 M1A1s, but not 2 of the later models which weigh 7 tons more(lockheed and Army statements I'm sure were when the M1 just came out)....haha, that's probably one of the reasons why the C-5 fleet has been reduced
