I know CoW is young, but being a logistics freak I'm both very impressed with and have many suggestions for new items or changes to items that can be defined as cargo. Should it be a different thread? I think so, because the discussion will be quite different than in the current DB threat. Volumes, Mass, personnel, what 'real DB units' these are linked to, and the debate if they should be added or not. I've a growing list of the exact equipment (down to bulldozers) for the exact TO&E for a USMC MEU. It's a lot of addition request, and I don't want to clog the current DB thread.
Thoughts??
As well, a question about the cargo and unit database. Are cargo items actually part of the database itself(a new subset), or hardcoded into the game? I have not been paying attention to details like DB version, only until I upgraded to full CMANO after having NI (and promptly bought CoW shortly after). So I haven't experienced my first DB update which would I hope contain corrections/suggestions I have submitted in the DB thread. Do DB updates come out monthly by themselves, or only with a quarterly maintenance release? I know 1.12 came with a new DB - is next DB coming in 1.13? 1.12 SR1??
