Was just thinking of Roddy McDowell's line from The Longest Day. "Ahh June," as he remembered being back home and what the weather was like there. I can't think of where he said he was from though.

In Georgia it's usually: "Arg! June!" or "Augh! June!"

June kicks off three months of tough heat and humidity. So here, we usually say: "Ahh, March, April, May, September, October and November."

Same here.... North Texas starts the brutally hot months in June, but the weather still reserves it's springtime right to try to kill you.

I'm really surprised about this. Surely you all knew that, because of the resemblance, Roddy McDowell was cast to play Hugh Hefner. He was referring to Miss June. I know, I know, the magazine didn't exist yet, but Hugh's mind did, and what do you think it was fixated on? Miss June.
