Add Idea Next DLCs:

1-More units. SS/afrika korps/Red Guard/Rangers with their own unique color on counters.

2-World map for a European and Pacific conflict, Similar to the game (Strategic Command WWII Global Conflict GOLD), and Map Pacific. I think it's very good to play around the world with 8 nations Ger, Ita, Jap, Eng, Usa, Rus, Fra, Chi or More example Spain.

3-Another Time WWI.

5-Stacking, but with limits.

6-More alliances (ability to create more alliances in editor for custom scenarios, not only axis and allies.

7-Ability to upgrade production capabilities/industries of cities/resources.

8-Sound and animation with different impact (Ultimate explosion animation) for unit of Earth/ sea/air. Note: It is always the same and is not real and tired to watch.

9-Republican and nationalist Spain.

10-Marine flags in differentiated Unit Sprites, example Regia Marina, kriegsmarine, Royal Navy, Japan etc...

Another important thing:
11- On the world map:
A-> Option to view map of conquered zone with color.
B-> Friendly and enemy Living Units on the map, visible with or without FOG (1 pixel of different and strong color.
Example: NO FOG>> (Normal map (Vainilla) without units or zone of conquest).
With FOG>> new map with units + zone of conquest.

12-Other things Which would add?.

Thanks you...

The ability to stack units in one hex like a great many other strategy games, this one unit one hex is nonsense, I love the game but for me this is a must some where down the line!

I agree . Much too often a front is broken by the one who strikes first because doing damage is irrelevant in SC, what matters is to destroy a unit .
The player who strikes first uses a standard typical combo :
1) Infantery removes trenches, does small damage and retreats
2) Air massively strikes and does 4-6 damage
3) a tank moves in, does 2 strikes and destroys the unit

The attacker has now 1 unit more than the defender and a snowball effect sets in .
This can be typically observed in N.Africa where the number of units is small .
Once the DAK strikes and destroys the first UK unit, it is game over . UK retreats, DAK closes in, using the 1 unit superiority destroys another UK unit, gets a 2 unit superiority . Rince, repeat, enter Cairo .

The impossibility to stack at strategical choke points makes any attempt at a defensive front that holds more than 1 turn useless .
I am not sure if it is only a stacking problem - it is the problem that any unit at any place can be destroyed in 1 turn regardless what the defender does .

I agree but it should have a limit. Something simple like this.

Land hex = 1 land (1 army or 3 corps) + 1 air.
Port hexes = up to 3 ships + 1 air
Sea hexes = up to 3 ships

I disagree. For me, unit stacking is usually a game flow and game overview killer. But Vonik is nevertheless right with his reference to the "ability to resist" of an occupied hex field. Even though the lack of a "stacking" function may be responsible, rather than the differences in the unit strength, which are only indicated in the game. A simplified doubling of strength in the ratio of the unit sizes (e.g. 5:10:20) should also improve the ingame representation of large military formations - especially with regard to resistance.

SC2 had a nice battalion/regiment level scenario of the North African campaign. I'd like to see that!

My dream DLC is a fictitious WWII era game that would use this fantastic engine and have variable setup for from 2-4 players.

The sides would each have their own strengths and weaknesses and for 3 player would likely be 2 smaller sides against 1 evil empire.

The WWII era is a perfect balance of weaponry. By going to an ahistorical country set you get away from all the baggage of everyone’s interpretation of what each country should have been doing. it also means there are no preconceived notions of when the game should end or what should happen where.

Maybe one day...

- stacking, but with limits, so perhaps 2 units max on each hex.

- Merging units (if you have f.e 2 weak corps would be nice to be able to merge them to one stronger corp)

- SS/Red Guard/Rangers with their own unique color on counters.

- World map with Japan as major.

- More alliances (ability to create more alliances in editor for custom scenarios, not only axis and allies, so you could have 3 or 4 factions fighting eachother.)

- List of all active units.

- Ability to upgrade production capabilities/industries of cities/resources, just like you can upgrade AA defenses of cities.

For me, stacking would ruin the game, ie strategy. As for what I would like to see for DLC, I would love to see a pacific theater. I love the old SC pacific, and with the new engine I think it would be awesome.
