I shall be making a lot of use of this feature, you can set any 10 hexes using Ctrl + 0 to 9, to jump your map to chosen areas, by hitting the appropriate number key in game. I am using a 27" touch screen to play ToF, which the game is well suited, as most game actions are achieved with a left click, so tapping the screen does almost everything. One of the few things I was using the mouse for was scrolling the map. The game has an I/D No. for each country : Poland I/D 1, Germany I/D 2, Soviets I/D 3, etc., all these I/Ds are in the scenario 'countries.csv' file. I intend to have number key 1 select Warsaw, number key 2 Berlin and so on. The US is I/D 53, but I can use the '0' key. The game is configured to use this feature in a game after the game has been started and then any 'player saved places' will be saved in next game save. However you can put a 'player saved places' file into main scenario folder, pre-edited with the hexes you want to allocate and then they are available from the start of the game each time. Thanks, nice feature to highlight, shame about the sparse manual, wonder what else is waiting to be found.
