Based on the Focus Pacific mod and also War in West and War in Meditterranean for pics and aircraft data, the project involves to use Italian aircrafts (almost all after the year 40) in the Pacific. You can decide whether to play them together with the Japanese or to replace them altogether.

There will be many models, both original and prototype or experimental.
Here too you will be free to decide whether or not to produce them. These models will be shown with this symbol (P), example ---> Breda Ba.201 (P).

Anyone who wants to help is welcome. I'm still looking and building the various aircrafts (I've completed the Breda series and CANSA and some devices). However, anyone who knows good sites or has interesting aircraft data, places them here.
I'm not a modder, but I try it because I want to play this fantastic game but also with italians.

Breda Ba.201 ---> Does anyone have more detailed information on this aircraft? Especially I miss cruise speed and max altitude... However I set those hypothetical parameters in the editor... https://ibb.co/fMxc2v

Do you know any sites where I can find the maximum altitude reached by aircrafts and / or reachable by Italian engines?

But despite this community be really great, dont expect feedback to any work that may not be consider inside the AE scope, if for your personal pleasure and fun with mates, ok but for here..unfortunately will be a waste of time;

I know it's a fantasy project but I hope it can grow by adding and hypothesizing maybe the Italians in India or anyway these aircrafts could be usfull to future mods.
However, personally I'll have fun to play with italians)

May be some base at Somalia/Sudan, or an expedicionary force.... Some kind of "experimental army" sent to China to improve the tactics and organization of the italian army...

Even ... all hypotheses are possible but I'm not a programmer and modder either. I am able to take data, compare them and create planes for example, but I need people who can create pics or change other parts of the game.
I had also thought of use War in Meditteranean, updating it to the AE edition and giving it an AI. Anyway I prefer to go step by step, now Italian planes and then... ;)

Unfortunately I have to check again the airplane data from Breda ba.65 to Fiat Br.20 because I noticed that in WITW and WIM mod many data are wrong... damn :)

I had a bit of a look at the Breda Ba201, 3 years from proposal to having 1 aircraft available for combat testing, a sad indictment on the state of the Italian aircraft industry.
It would have been better to manufacture the Ju87 and tweak it if desired.

In game, it will be bait for Allied (or would it be co-belligerant?)fighters, just as most divebombers are in game.

I like the G55, should have built more of these instead of some of the rubbish that saw service.

In fact the problem was Italian industry, many great projects never entered in production or in small numbers.
I think the Ba 201 will be one of the best divebomber of the game. In the real test, was as maneuverable as a fighter, and for that I gave 29 in the value...
G.55 will be one of the best fighter available to the player as it was for the axis (but too few!) and I want to see how it behaves against the p.47 etc

Which series V airplane, think you is better in maneuverability? I believe Reggiane 2005 Sagittarius... do you agree? And also, what allied airplane has equal or superior performance?

g55 should be best at highest altitudes, re2005 at medium but was more fragile when it could reach 900kph in dives the rear could break, c.205 maybe with c.202 wing at lowers but i doubt with that biggest wing loading, it was worse than c.202 and not capable above 7000m with so small wing for its weight.

someone is interested in this project open to any idea. Because today not knowing what to do, I added some Italian aircraft to the RHS mod art folder. The idea that the Italians, after fantasy maintaining the Horn of Africa against the allies, can threaten the convoys, etc. and who knows, maybe one day their can launch attack to India... It teases me a lot. But on its own it's long work and my time, except some occasion like today, is limited. If you are interested, I can send to you j_planetside, alpha and top and then together, just to start, we can build the database of each aircraft.
